League of Legends Tier List: The Best Top Lane Champions on Patch 11.1

We give our League of Legends aggregated solo queue tier list for Patch 11.1, looking at the best top lane champions!
It’s finally here. Season 11 has begun, with players jumping into their placements early last week as Patch 11.1 went live. As a result, it’s time to give out our first tier list of a brand new season, starting in the top lane.
Our aggregated League of Legends tier list pulled data from ten different sites around the internet to see how they each ranked the top champions in each role in Patch 11.1. From that, we are able to give our average ranking of each champion that was graded or listed in at least half of those tier lists. As always, you can find the link to all the underlying data here.

- ⇐ = borderline-up (within 10% of being in the next-higher tier)
- ⇒ = borderline-down (within 10% of being in the next-lower tier)
Rising Picks
Heimerdinger had a massive improvement to his rating on our tier list, moving up over one whole tier from the C tier into the B tier. A few other champions took a significant boost to their position on this tier list, moving up by half a tier. Those would be Nasus, Garen, Gnar, and Pantheon.
Falling Picks
On the other hand, two picks took massive drops to their rankings, Akali and Viktor. In addition, Kayle, Fiora, Mordekaiser, Zac, Cassiopeia, and Singed all had a significant drop in this patch.
Underrated Picks
The most underrated top lane champion, meaning the A tier (or higher) pick with the lowest pick rate on Patch 11.1, is currently Sion with a 1.88% pick rate.
Overrated Picks
Renekton has the fourth-highest pick rate (10.86%) on Patch 11.1, but did not crack the A tier. This makes him our overrated pick of the patch.
