League of Legends Tier List: The Best Mid Laners on Patch 11.2

The latest League of Legends patch was fairly light on the mid lane champion pool in terms of nerfs, with Akali being the only major target. Other staples like Azir and Leblanc got buffs in Patch 11.2, making them poised to move up our latest League of Legends tier list.

Our aggregated League of Legends tier list pulled data from ten different sites around the internet to see how they each ranked the top champions in each role in Patch 11.2. From that, we are able to give our average ranking of each champion that was graded or listed in at least half of those tier lists. As always, you can find the link to all the underlying data here.

Rising Picks

Heimerdinger had a massive move up our tier list, going from the D tier to C tier. Other champions – Garen, Jayce, Sett, and Yasuo – also had significant improvements to their ranking in our League of Legends tier list.

Falling Picks

Akali fell the furthest on our tier list after her nerfs, but Corki also took a sizeable hit this patch.

Underrated Picks

Three patches in a row now that Annie has the lowest pick rate of A tier mid laners, with a 1.3% pick rate.

Overrated Picks

With a 9.9% pick rate, third-highest for the mid lane, Twisted Fate is our pick for the most overrated mid.
