League of Legends Tier List: The Best Top Laners on Patch 11.2

Patch 11.2 took aim at some of the top-performing top lane champions, particularly Darius. There were also small changes to some of the most common top lane tank items like Sunfire Cape and Turbo Chemtank. With only a few changes to champions and items, he latest League of Legends tier list for top lane is probably not due for most of a shakeup.

Our aggregated League of Legends tier list pulled data from ten different sites around the internet to see how they each ranked the top champions in each role in League of Legends Patch 11.2. From that, we are able to give our average ranking of each champion that was graded or listed in at least half of those tier lists. As always, you can find the link to all the underlying data here.

Rising Picks

The biggest riser of Patch 11.2 for top lane was Dr. Mundo, who rose from the F tier up into the C tier. Along with Mundo, Gnar, Cho’Gath, and Mordekaiser had significant improvements to their ranking on our League of Legends tier list.

Falling Picks

The only champion who had a significant drop in their ranking this patch was Shen, who fell out of the S tier.

Underrated Picks

The most underrated top laner on Patch 11.2 is Cho’Gath, who is rated in our A tier despite having a pick rate under 1% (0.73%).

Overrated Picks

With the sixth-highest pick rate, Irelia is the most overrated top laner on this patch. She has an 8.48% pick rate despite being in the low B tier.
