Games to Watch
There aren’t a lot of meaty games to kick off Week 5, but on Friday there is a great matchup between 2020 Worlds Finalist, Suning and EDG. EDward Gaming has been one of the shockers of the LPL this year, as they have already defeated some of the stronger teams from last year, including JDG and FPX. Meanwhile, Suning has struggled this year without SwordArt, including an embarrassing loss in Week 3 to Rogue Atom.
On Saturday, though, we get a true banger series as FPX takes on TOP Esports. FPX is back in 2019 form, buoyed by the strong play of their new top laner Nuguri. While TES started the season off slowly, they have won their last three series (over Rogue Atom, LGD, and JDG) going 6-0 over that span.
