LCS 2021: LCS Player Ratings and Rankings Through Week 4
By Josh Tyler
After four weeks of play, the excuses for underperformance are off the table. Players have just over 10 regular-season games under their belt, over several patches. This makes our LCS player ratings and rankings more reliable, as the sample size is much larger.
Coming from the same system that developed our worldwide player rankings, these LCS player ratings are based on several key statistical categories, damage, KDA, laning, and gold per minute, that have shown a high correlation to both team and individual success. These statistics account for champion picks and lane matchups as well, factoring in how players across all pro leagues perform in similar situations.
Top Lane
1. Barney “Alphari” Morris, TL – 100 OVR (+1)
2. Jung “Impact” Eon-yeong, EG – 83 OVR (+1)
3. Ibrahim “Fudge” Allami, C9 – 82 OVR (+1)
4. Heo “Huni” Seung-hoon, TSM – 82 OVR (+3)
5. Aaron “FakeGod” Lee, DIG – 78 OVR (-)
6. Kim “Ssumday” Chan-ho, 100T – 78 OVR (+1)
7. Finn “Finn” Wiestål, CLG – 75 OVR (-2)
8. Mohamed “Revenge” Kaddoura, IMT – 73 OVR (-3)
9. Eric “Licorice” Ritchie, FLY – 72 OVR (-4)
10. Aiden “Niles” Tidwell, GGS – 63 OVR (-3)
No very big changes to the top laner player ratings. At the bottom, players like Revenge, Licorice, and Niles all dropped further away from the pack, solidifying themselves in the bottom tier of top laners.
Only small moves at the top of the pack, with Huni’s strong weekend highlighting the bunch. Even though he lost one of them, his two games on Jayce really showcased that his carry potential might still be there.

Jungle
1. Robert “Blaber” Huang, C9 – 100 OVR (+1)
2. Lucas “Santorin” Tao Kilmer Larsen, TL – 84 OVR (+1)
3. Joshua “Dardoch” Hartnett, DIG – 82 OVR (+3)
4. Brandon Joel “Josedeodo” Villegas, FLY – 82 OVR (-2)
5. Andrei “Xerxe” Dragomir, IMT – 79 OVR (-4)
6. Dennis “Svenskeren” Johnsen, EG – 78 OVR (-2)
7. Can “Closer” Çelik, 100T – 77 OVR (-)
8. Mingyi “Spica” Lu, TSM – 77 OVR (+1)
9. Ethan “Iconic” Wilkinson, GGS – 74 OVR (-)
10. Mads “Broxah” Brock-Pedersen, CLG – 66 OVR (-4)
A bit of regression from Xerxe after his big Week 3, Week 4 also saw Dardoch continue to establish himself as one of the best carry junglers in the LCS. Otherwise, the jungle player ratings remain about even after last week.
Mid
1. Luka “Perkz” Perković, C9 – 91 OVR (+1)
2. Daniele “Jiizuke” di Mauro, EG – 86 OVR (+3)
3. Nicolaj “Jensen” Jensen, TL – 84 OVR (+2)
4. David “Insanity” Challe, IMT – 83 OVR (-1)
5. Tristan “PowerOfEvil” Schrage, TSM – 81 OVR (-)
6. Max “Soligo” Soong, DIG – 80 OVR (-1)
7. Eugene “Pobelter” Park, CLG – 75 OVR (NR)
8. Alexey “rjs” Zatorski, CLG – 75 OVR (-)
9. Cristian “Palafox” Palafox, FLY – 75 OVR (-)
10. Tanner “Damonte” Damonte, 100T – 74 OVR (-2)
11. Nicholas “Ablazeolive” Antonio Abbott, GGS – 72 OVR (+1)
No significant changes to our LCS player ratings in the mid lane, other than Jiizuke gaining a bit of ground on Perkz thanks to a strong Week 4. Pobelter entered the CLG lineup this week and looked fairly rusty, but his play improved drastically in their final game to help CLG pick up their second win.
But, of course, the player most people will be looking at is Damonte. There are plenty of reasons 100 Thieves subbed Damonte out in favor of Ry0ma, and unfortunately, his poor play is one of them.
ADCs
1. Ian Victor “FBI” Huang, 100T – 88 OVR (-)
2. Edward “Tactical” Ra, TL – 87 OVR (+2)
3. Jesper “Zven” Svenningsen, C9 – 86 OVR (+1)
4. Matthew “Deftly” Chen, EG – 80 OVR (+1)
5. Toàn “Neo” Trần, DIG – 80 OVR (-4)
6. Jason “WildTurtle” Tran, CLG – 78 OVR (+1)
7. Lawrence “Lost” Sze Yuy Hui, TSM – 78 OVR (-1)
8. Johnson “Johnsun” Nguyen, FLY – 74 OVR (+2)
9. Trevor “Stixxay” Hayes, GGS – 71 OVR (+3)
10. Quin “Raes” Korebrits, IMT – 70 OVR (+2)
The top of the ADC pack is getting even more compressed, as both Tactical and Zven climb slightly higher up the LCS player ratings. With FBI failing to make any ground in Week 4, they move to within two overall points of each other.
The biggest change in Week 4, however, was Neo who dropped further down the rankings to the fifth spot. After a strong start, both he and his partner Aphromoo are starting to come down to earth a bit in recent weeks.
Supports
1. Jo “CoreJJ” Yong-in, TL – 94 OVR (-)
2. Zaqueri “Aphromoo” Black, DIG – 90 OVR (-3)
3. Philippe “Vulcan” Laflamme, C9 – 86 OVR (+1)
4. Choi “huhi” Jae-hyun, 100T – 84 OVR (-2)
5. Lee “Ignar” Dong-geun, EG – 77 OVR (-3)
6. Leandro “Newbie” Marcos, GGS – 76 OVR (-)
7. Hu “SwordArt” Shuo-Chieh, TSM – 76 OVR (-1)
8. David “Diamond” Bérubé, FLY – 75 OVR (-1)
9. Mitchell “Destiny” Shaw, IMT – 74 OVR (+2)
10. Andy “Smoothie” Ta, CLG – 69 OVR (+4)
Aphromoo continues to be a surprise among the LCS supports to start the 2021 season. Even though he took a hit in his player rating after Week 4, he continues to solidify himself among an elite season.
On the other hand, another disappointing week for Ignar, who dropped further down the player ratings this week. Even though it wasn’t a terrible week for him in terms of KDA, he falls a bit closer to the middle of the pack.
