League of Legends Tier List: The Best Mid Laners On Patch 11.6

Significant Akali changes and Leblanc buffs highlighted Patch 11.6, to the dismay of mid laners everywhere. Their strength on the latest League of Legends tier list, however, surprisingly didn’t change much, largely due to their high skillcap kits. As a result, it’s still many of the typical names leading the pack this patch.
Our aggregated League of Legends tier list pulled data from ten different sites around the internet to see how they each ranked the top champions in each role in Patch 11.6. From that, we are able to give our average ranking of each champion that was graded or listed in at least half of those tier lists. As always, you can find the link to all the underlying data here.

Rising Picks
Zilean, Tristana, Nocturne, and Akali all rose significantly compared to the last League of Legends tier list. Sylas, Garen, Veigar, Corki, Aatrox, Qiyana, and Ahri also had decent improvements this patch.
Falling Picks
Pyke, Seraphine, and Renekton have all fallen off as mid laners.
Underrated Picks
Annie is the A tier mid laner who has the lowest pick rate, at only 1.19%.
Overrated Picks
The champion with the highest pick rate in mid lane, Twisted Fate, did not make our A tier.
