We’ve reached the end of TFT Set 4. The Fates have come and gone, about to give way to the Reckoning. But first, we have one more set of TFT patch notes to dissect, as Patch 11.8 brings Set 4 to a conclusion. One last time, let’s go through all the changes of TFT: Fates in the Patch 11.8 biggest changes.

1. Luckier Lanterns

More from Blog of Legends

"More frequent gold drops with more goldSignificantly increased the drop rates of rare items (Neeko’s, Spatula, Force of Nature)Instead of having a 25% chance to not spawn a Lantern, each game will have a 25% chance to drop a Lantern in all 3 Stages"

It seems that Set 4 is going out with a bang here, as the Lucky Lanterns are getting a massive boost to their power in Patch 11.8. Getting Lanterns not only give more loot, but players will now have more chances to get Lanterns.

2. Fortune Buffs

Fortune

"Added a new drop possibility for 3 Fortune 12 Losses (40% Chance)Added a cold hearted new drop possibility for 6 Fortune (4% chance)Changed the chance to drop ‘The Boot’ in 6 Fortune from 1% ⇒ 4%"

Just as the Lanterns are getting buffed, so too are Fortunes. Yes, it’s a bit of a meme comp, but the reward might actually now be worth the risk.

The latest TFT patch notes for Patch 11.8 will bring major changes!

3. Aurelion Sol Nerfs

Aurelion Sol

"Voice of Lightning Damage: 325/500/1400 ⇒ 300/475/1300"

Sol is probably one of the strongest carry units down the stretch in Set 4, so it makes sense that his ultimate is getting nerfed. This is a big blow to Mage comps, which have been fairly strong last patch.

4. Kayle Buffs

Kayle

"Divine Ascension Wave Damage: 100/140/350 ⇒ 110/150/350"

It’s a very small buff to Kayle, only 10 damage on the Divine Ascension waves, but for a champion who can get rolling as quickly as she can, this could end up being big. It probably won’t be, of course.

5. Neeko Nerfs

Neeko

"Blooming Burst Damage: 250/350/450 ⇒ 250/325/425"

Incredibly, Neeko rose to being a half-decent carry unit after the buffs in Patch 11.7, so naturally Riot has to nerf her. It’s not a massive nerf, but it will likely push her back out of the meta.
