League of Legends patch 11.15 is right around the corner and on Jul 12 Riot gave fans a first glimpse at some of the changes we can come to expect next update. There’ll be some long-awaited champion nerfs and the brand new split-pushing item “Hullbreaker” will be getting a well-deserved tweak that could possibly make it more viable. We’ll have to wait for further details but here are our thoughts on the changes slated to come next patch.

What new changes will we see in League of Legends Patch 11.15?

A couple names interestingly pop out on the champion nerf list but none more so than Gwen. Since 11.13 players have been asking Riot to do something about the Hallowed Seamstress, who terrorized the rift with her eye-popping damage numbers. Although they did address fan complaints in the 11.14 update by stating that only on the pro level in western regions was she deemed OP, she still remains one of the highest banned champions in competitive play. The places that they’ll likely target are the damage numbers of her “Snip, Snip” and the up-time of her “Hallowed Mist” to help bring her down to earth.

There are some pretty intriguing names that’ll be getting buffed as well. Nidalee and Shyvana stand out the most for my personal taste. When these champions saw regular action in the jungle there was always a major chance that things would pop off at any moment. It’ll be a treat to see what they have in store for Syndra as well. While she is one of the more difficult mid laners in the game keeping her pick rate rather low, there have been some insane Syndra plays in the past on the pro-level that would make a big stage return really satisfying.

Dr.Mundo is receiving an adjustment to his kit, this is sort of odd being that last patch he received an adjustment to make him better in the jungle. It’s likely that he’ll be losing some of his jungle accessibility but with his pick rate being so low it’s not likely that it’ll matter.

Just like Mundo, there’ll be another recently reworked champion receiving some serious changes. Irelia one-tricks are going to be mad at this one, right after Riot gave them a monstrously overpowered champion they decide to nerf her. Although we don’t know the extent of the nerf something absolutely had to be done. Irelia is completely busted right now, her damage is out of the roof and hopefully, this nerf will see a drop-off in her scaling. But not to the point that she’s completely kicked out of the rotation.
