One of the greatest aspects of League is meeting new people, becoming friends, and really enjoying everything the game has to offer. It’s easy to make new friends and start to play alongside them straight to victory. Once you get a great relationship with them, show them some love at the end of a match by giving them a ranking due to their friendliness, teamwork, or for being helpful. It won’t be long before your friends list is packed with quality Summoners that are friendly and helpful all along the way.

Show Humility in Victory, and Grace in Defeat

Remember, you won’t win every single match in League. For all the great wins you’ve earned, you’ll undoubtedly have many lopsided losses. It’s part of the game and it’s important to be humble in victory and in defeat. It’s best to learn from your mistakes and continue to hone your craft as a Summoner.

Be Resolute, not Indignant

It’s always good to find resolutions when it comes to how you won or lost a game. Summoners can learn just as much, if not more, on the receiving end of a loss. But when you find those Summoners that do nothing but insult, name call and try to get you to chime back, always be the bigger person. League has a plethora of options to mute, block, and report players. Use these functions but never stoop to their level since that is exactly what they crave.

Leave No Newbie Behind!

It’s always great to not only meet new friends but also invite others to League. If you get new players into the game, make sure to show them everything they need to know. Patience is key but offer help rather than criticize for all new players that are getting used to League. Everyone started somewhere and it’s important to foster how the League community should be.
