Who is the best AD Carry playing in the 2019 League of Legends World Championship?

We’ve already looked at who the best top lanersjunglers, and mid laners playing in the 2019 League of Legends World Championship are. Today we will grade and rank every single starting mid laner based on their statistical performance during their domestic 2019 Summer Split regular-season performance. We’ll be using the same metrics we used to evaluate the other two positions, but the ratings here will be relative to other bot laners.

More from International Tournaments

Here are the average statistics among the 24 ADCs at the World Championship:

  • Average Kill Efficiency = 4.43
  • Average aGPM = 459.9
  • Average aDPM = 523.1
  • Average VSPM = 1.21
  • Average laning score = 0.00

How do the AD Carries at the World Championship compare to each other? Who is the best mid laner in the World?

24. Nguyễn “Zin” Tuấn Thọ (GAM Esports) – 60 OVR

In the mid laner rankings, I mentioned that GAM had a lot of weaknesses across the bottom half of the map. Their ADC Zin is one of those big weaknesses.

Although his adjusted KDA is above average (5.02 aKDA) his low death count is due to playing timidly more than playing smart. With a 78.7% adjusted kill participation and 375.8 adjusted damage per minute, Zin is the player who contributes to his team’s success the least. He is also the only ADC at Worlds with a kill share below 20%.

23. Felipe “BrTT” Gonçalves (Flamengo) – 62 OVR

He may be a legend among Brazilian League of Legends fans, but BrTT has not shown himself to be an incredibly effective bot laner for Flamengo this year. Having a 3.28 Kill Efficiency and below-average damage output (452.9 aDPM) when facing low competition in the CBLoL doesn’t inspire confidence in his ability to carry his team.

22. Nguyễn Phước “Celebrity” Long Hiệp (Lowkey) – 64 OVR

With the second-lowest Kill Efficiency statistic among the ADCs at Worlds, Celebrity doesn’t even have the saving grace that Zin does of a decent KDA. His 2.1 deaths and 3.02 aKDA are both worse than average. Luckily, he does manage to outstrip Zin in gold as well as damage, though his own 419.9 aDPM is second-worst beating only Zin.

21. Nihat “Innaxe” Aliev (Unicorns of Love) – 68 OVR

After leaving Excel and the LEC for Russia, you would have hoped that Innaxe would have been able to find some more success against weaker competition. In fact, his laning numbers are better than they were facing bot laners in the LEC (461 gold, 4 CS, and 217 experience advantages at 15). Unfortunately, he still lags behind other ADCs in important metrics like Kill Efficiency, thanks to having one of the highest deaths per game of any ADC (2.3).
