League of Legends: Ranking All the Best Vayne Skins

Vayne is an incredibly popular champion in League of Legends, so let’s rank all her skins!
Vayne might be the most polarizing champion in League of Legends. Adored by her mains and despised by those who have ever had to face her at three or more items, the Night Hunter is certainly a champion that every League of Legends player knows. While she isn’t known for her skins, she certainly has plenty to choose from.
The Night Hunter has 11 skins in her collection giving players plenty of choices as they tumble in 1v9. If you’re a newer player or have limited RP, here are all of the Vayne skins in League of Legends, ranked from worst to best.

12. Dragonslayer Vayne
Price: 975 RP
The only thing worse than an ugly, uninspired skin is an ugly, uninspired skin that is also overpriced. This skin brings absolutely nothing, with no new effects or animations. On top of that, I’m supposed to accept this ugly champion model, with Vayne wearing an ugly as heck mask, makes it cost more than the Aristocrat or Vindicator skins? No way.
11. SKT T1 Vayne
Price: 750 RP
Awarded for Piglet’s performance in SKT T1’s 2013 World Championship run, this is a better value than the Dragonslayer skin, but there’s no real reason to buy this skin unless you’re high on the history.
10. Aristocrat Vayne
Price: 520 RP
This is one of the two “budget” skins on this list. Along with the Vindicator skin, this is basically only a good option if you have limited RP. There’s no special animations or effects, and the character model isn’t nice enough to justify a high ranking.
9. Vindicator Vayne
Price: 520 RP
It’s purely a matter of personal preference whether you put this skin or the Aristocrat skin higher. Neither is radically better than the other and both have the same, low price point.
8. Heartseeker Vayne
Price: 975 RP
While I was very high on Ashe’s Heartseeker skin, the same cannot be said here. While the model is nice and there are some cool effects with her bats turning to little hearts on the ult, there just isn’t enough here to justify a higher ranking. For the price, though, this is not bad.
7. Soulstealer Vayne
Price: 10 Gemstones
The problem with this skin is that, like a lot of the Gemstone-exclusive skins, the amount you get for it isn’t worth the rarity. This basically looks like Vayne is cosplaying Kalista. While there are new animations and effects, I just don’t think they stack up to other skins on this list.
6. Firecracker Vayne
Price: 1350 RP
All of the remaining skins on this list are in the higher price range and, unfortunately, the Firecracker skin is at the bottom of the expensive skin pile. It comes with the customary bells and whistles for a skin in this price range, like new animations and ability effects, but they pale in comparison to the other skins higher on this list.
5. FPX Vayne
Price: 1350 RP
This is the skin LWX chose as his reward for being a part of the FunPlus Pheonix team that won Worlds 2019. As a newer Worlds skin, it’s definitely on the higher end in terms of the effects and animations, but, like with the SKT skin, you want it more for the history than the aesthetic.
4. Arclight Vayne
Price: 975 RP
Easily the best “budget” skin on this list, as you get all the animations and effects that you would expect from a pricier skin at a fraction of the cost. The Arclight theme also works really well on Vayne, with the golden circles forming from her Silver Bolts.
3. Spirit Blossom Vayne
Price: 1350 RP
While I’m not a huge fan of the dark blue color scheme on Vayne, the detailing and effects on this skin are just so darn cool. The recall animation might be her best of all the skins and the blue glow when she ults is gorgeous, as are the blue rings from her Silver Bolts.

1. PROJECT: Vayne
Price: 1820 RP
Her priciest skin is also easily her best as Vayne rocks the PROJECT skin better than most other champions in League of Legends. The animation on her ultimate, giving her a sort of Heads Up Display is such a cool touch, as is the fact that she drives to lane on a freaking futuristic motorcycle. I mean, even if the other effects and animations weren’t good (which they are), that would be enough to put the PROJECT skin atop her collection.
