League of Legends Tier List: The Best Supports in Patch 10.25
By Josh Tyler
We give our League of Legends aggregated solo queue tier list for Patch 10.25, looking at the best supports!
We conclude our tier lists for Patch 10.25 in the support role, which was highlighted by Riot’s attempt to remove Pantheon from the top of the support meta. However, despite Pantheon landing hard in the top and mid lanes, it seems that his spear is stuck into the high end of the support tier list this patch.
Our aggregated League of Legends tier list pulled data from ten different sites around the internet to see how they each ranked the top champions in each role in Patch 10.25. From that, we are able to give our average ranking of each champion that was graded or listed in at least half of those tier lists. As always, you can find the link to all the underlying data here.

- ⇑ = improved (rated at least one tier higher than the previous patch)
- ⇓ = declined (rated at least one tier lower than the previous patch)

Rising Picks
No champion had massive improvements to their ranking on our tier list, but two supports did rise up significantly by at least half a tier. Those would be Seraphine and Gragas.
Falling Picks
However, one support did fall at least a full tier in Patch 10.25 – Galio. There were seven other supports who took a significant drop to their rankings, Annie, Tahm Kench, and Shen.
Underrated Picks
Two patches in a row now that Nami is the underrated pick of the patch. At 2.53%, she is 28 out of 43 qualified supports by pick rate.
Overrated Picks
Yuumi has the fourth-highest pick rate (8.99%), yet just missed making the A tier this patch. As a result, she is our choice for overrated support of Patch 10.25.
New Champion
Although Rell did qualify for our tier list in her first patch on live, we should note that she did not qualify on three of the ten sites we pulled data from. This skewed her data downwards. Of the sites that did rank her, she seemed to fit in the high-C/low-B tier on launch.
Buffed Champions
Anivia (Unranked ⇒ D tier)
Gragas (F tier ⇒ D tier)
Lulu (A+ tier ⇒ S tier)
Seraphine (B tier ⇒ A tier)
Twitch (D tier ⇒ D tier)
Nerfed Champions
Annie (C tier ⇒ D tier)
Morgana (A+ tier ⇒ A+ tier)
Pantheon (A tier ⇒ A tier)
The changes to Pantheon were huge in terms of his solo lane play (he’s A tier in the top lane and high-B tier in the mid lane), but the changes were supposed to also pull him out of the support role. That did not happen, as he remains an A tier pick after the support nerfs.
Ironically, the biggest nerf in terms of impact was to Annie, who was enjoying a brief resurgence of her time in the sun in the mid and support roles. Already a fringe support, Annie is now firmly out of the meta.
