The LEC returns to action today, the first time in almost half a decade that the European league will not feature Rekkles as a member of Fnatic or feature Perkz at all. There is also a format change to the LEC, which will feature “superweeks” with matches on three days. Week 1 will kick off with a superweek,  three days of action, so here is where you can watch everything!

Games to Watch

Naturally, the LEC will open play with a clash of two top teams. G2, now with Rekkles in the ADC role, will take on the upstarts and surprise team of EU last year in MAD Lions.

On Saturday, fans will get to see a battle between the two other Worlds representatives last year. Fnatic, now with Nisqy and Upset in the fold, will take on Rogue, who added Odoamne to replace the departed Finn.

Next. 20 champions that dominate pro play but suck in solo queue. dark

Fnatic will also be featured in our final game to watch this week, as their Sunday match pits Fnatic against Schalke 04. Schalke is a team that looks to be in the next tier of contenders behind the big four, but with a team that returns “God Gillius” and “Faker-dagge” while adding Broken Blade, it will be interesting to see how Schalke does in their first big test of the season.
