Games to Watch

Day 1 of LCS Week 3 features a lot of imbalanced matchups, but the TSM vs. EG bout catches our eye as TSM will be looking to try and prove that their previous 3-0 week was not a fluke. On the other hand, the highly-touted Evil Geniuses team will try and recover some of their own lost momentum.

On Day 2, we get another TSM matchup as they face 100 Thieves. TSM has yet to take down a formidable foe other than the struggling TL in Week 3, but this could be an opportunity to prove their worth. On the other hand, this will be 100 Thieves’ hardest matchup this week and they will be buckling down hard to secure a perfect Week 3.

Finally, Sunday’s table features a rematch of the Lock-In tournament finals as TL takes on C9. Cloud9 has looked every bit as strong as they did during the tournament, but Team Liquid has struggled slightly. While it’s still early in the season, you have to figure TL will be looking at this game as a chance to right the ship.
