TFT Patch Notes: The 5 Biggest Changes of Patch 11.7
By Josh Tyler
Only two patches left in Set 4 before we move on to the Reckoning. As a result Riot is really going hard with some final big changes in Patch 11.7 to shake up the meta and make some under-the-radar champions and comps (do Fables even exist?) viable before they go away for good. Let’s check out the big changes in the newest TFT patch notes!
1. Vanguard Buffs

Vanguard
"Armor: 100/250/500/800⇒100/250/500/1000"
Vanguard/Mystic has actually been a fairly underrated comp in the meta, but this buff isn’t really going to matter until ultra late game. But if you are getting Chosen Vanguard and/or Vanguard’s Spatula item, this could come into play.
2. Irelia Buffs
Irelia
"Bladestorm Disarm Duration: 2.5/3/4⇒2.5/3/5 seconds"
Irelia getting a buff at 3-stars doesn’t seem like a big deal, but it could be big because it’s actually quite easy to get a 3-star Irelia (she’s rarely contested). In a Divine/Duelist comp, this disarm’s increased duration could be quite meaningful.
The latest TFT patch notes for Patch 11.7 will bring major changes!
3. Nidalee Buffs
Nidalee
"Javelin Toss Damage: 100/175/300⇒100/175/350"
50 damage at 3-stars isn’t that impactful, and Sharpshooters aren’t really OP in the meta. However, Warlords generally got big buffs in the last patch through a few champions being buffed. Now with Nidalee being buffed, Warlords have gotten even stronger and Nidalee has gotten more viable as the second carry in the comp.
4. Vladimir Buffs
Vladimir
"Transfusion Damage: 400/600/900⇒400/600/1000"
Cultists are almost always a strong comp and Vladimir is one of the weaker links in this comp. It’s a buff at 3-stars, which you’re usually not going to slow roll for Vlad, but he’s in such little demand, it’s possible you can luck into a 3-star Vlad.
5. Darius Buffs
Darius
"Fortune’s Guillotine Damage Falloff upon reset: 25%⇒25/20/10%"
Maybe this will make Darius slightly more viable as a carry in Patch 11.7? It seems unlikely, since Slayers and Fortunes aren’t incredibly strong in the meta, but this at least makes Darius slightly better as a second or third carry in one of these comps.
