Team Liquid has desperately drafted Dardoch again

Dardoch has made yet another move in 2017, this time it’s back to Team Liquid! It’s a move of desperation for the North American League of Legends Esports team.

If you are here for answers, I don’t have any. I am just as confused as the rest of the world. When Team Liquid announced that Dardoch was back on their roster, lots of people that follow the League of Legends Esports scene were very surprised.

For those of you who haven’t watched Breaking Point, I would suggest it for a couple reasons. Mostly, it fills you in on the history between Dardoch and Team Liquid. It documents how such a strong organization fell so far and got to the point where they are now.

In short: Dardoch is toxic. He has shifted organizations multiple times because of it. He didn’t mesh well with Team Liquid in 2016 so he left. Immortals picked him up then traded him for Xmithie only six months later. Now, CLG has released him from his contract to start Omargod, and not with a glowing review attached to that release since again, he simply wasn’t a team player.

Seeing how so many people commend Dardoch as being an incredibly talented player, it is a shame that he seems to be impossible to work with.

He has been traded off two of the top teams in the NA LCS in less than a year. If organizations with strong leadership and records of success can’t manage this player, does he have a place in the LCS?

Team Liquid seems to think they can work with Dardoch again. This is an act of desperation by them. I don’t see how this is different from when they released him in December of 2016. Team Liquid are still struggling as an organization and Dardoch is still super competitive.

Team Liquid seems to understand their position. I am hoping Dardoch understands his. If he keeping going at this rate, he may not be on any team soon.
