The start of a brand new League of Legends NA LCS season is nearly upon us. For this installment of our player power rankings, we will be looking at the five best NA junglers heading into the coming Spring Split, which officially begins on January 26.

5. Meteos (OpTic Gaming)

Starting off our ranking of the top five NA junglers, we have William “Meteos” Hartman. A well known and respected jungler among the League of Legends community, he arguably helped to establish Cloud9 into the dynasty it has become.

Since his departure from Cloud9 in 2017 however, Meteos has bounced around on a couple of teams and has struggled to find his place as a dominant jungler in the NA scene, which he was often well known for.

For the 2019 season, he joins OpTic Gaming, who have acquired several high profile players for their upcoming season. With the sheer skill of some of Meteos’ new teammates, which now features two highly prolific Korean powerhouses, perhaps this will be the season where he rejoins his spot among the elite.

4. Contractz (Golden Guardians)

Juan “Contractz” Arturo Garcia clocks in at number four on our ranking of NA junglers. Contractz’s most notable achievements were primarily in the 2017 season with Cloud9 where he helped his team to a quarter-finals spot in the Worlds Championship. But after his departure from Cloud9, Contractz sought refuge with the newly formed Golden Guardians for the 2018 season.

During this time, the team struggled to make anything happen and finished the season well out of a playoff spot and a sloppy 10th place finish it was clear that going forward, certain roster changes were needed if Golden Guardians were going to have any impact whatsoever.

in fact, Contractz and teammate Deftly remain as the only two members of the 2018 roster, with Hauntzer, Froggen, and Olleh joining them for this upcoming Spring Split.

This new roster change will surely help Contractz out in the jungle immensely and should give new life and jump to this team. We’ll have to keep an eye on Golden Guardians this spring as they could end up being massive underdogs.
